  • Do you support any specialties other than Dermatology?

    EZDERM was developed as a dermatology-specific platform and is specifically designed to document and bill for dermatology treatments. However, if you have a practice that supports other specialties, in addition to Dermatology, reach out to sales@ezderm.com to discuss the process!

  • Do you support practices outside of the United States?

    The system was built to efficiently bill out for ICD-10 and CPT codes for the US insurance market and document self-pay or cosmetic patients. If you’re outside of the US and interested in using the EHR only, please contact sales@ezderm.com for more information!

  • How quickly can I get up and running on EZDERM?

    At least 6-8 weeks before you plan to see patients in EZDERM you’ll want to begin the implementation process. You can get access to the system as soon as you sign a contract though and fees don’t start until you start seeing patients in EZDERM.

  • What are the hardware requirements?

    The EHR can be accessed from any Apple Product (iPad, iPhone, desktop, or laptop computer). The functionality of the application is the same across all devices. Storage capacity and model are user preference.

    The Practice Management System and Patient Portal can be accessed from any desktop computer (Apple or Windows).

    The EZ Check-In App can be accessed from an iPad.

  • Can I integrate EZDERM with another EHR or PM?

    EZDERM offers a full suite solution that provides the most efficient and seamless approach to managing the administrative and clinical side of a practice. Building a bridge between two systems that were not initially designed to work together is always going to cause a level of issues that are avoided when utilizing a full suite solution. This is why we no longer offer integrations with other EHRs or Practice Management Systems.

  • Does EZDERM have a Point Of Sale?

    EZDERM is partnered with Square as our Point of Sale. Square Rates are negotiated directly with them. Please note when purchasing your hardware EZDERM is compatible with the Square Terminal and Square Reader.

  • What is the recommended training schedule?

    We have a customized approach to training that takes into account each practice and its specific needs. During our initial kick-off call, we’ll nail down a specific training plan that works for your practice depending on the number of employees, preference for training (EZ School, one-on-one virtual, group virtual, or onsite), and clinic schedules. We recommend starting to train at least 4 weeks prior to go-live.

  • Who owns my patient data?

    You own your patient data!

  • Is EZDERM Meaningful Use 2015 certified?

    Yes, EZDERM is 2015 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

  • When is software support available to my office?

    EZDERM offers software support Monday – Friday 8:30 AM- 8:00 PM Eastern Time. Give us a call or email us! No long wait times or automated messages.

  • How much does EZDERM cost?
